Cover Contest
We are thrilled to announce the Cover Contest for The Awakening Magazine: Volume 6!
This is an opportunity for artists to have their work featured on the cover of our upcoming issue.
We welcome all mediums—paintings, illustrations, photography, digital art, and more. Submissions don’t have to directly relate to The Awakening Magazine; we encourage original work that speaks to you. Your piece does not need to include the magazine name or volume number—we can add that to the cover.
Important notice
Each single submission requires a separate form. However, if submitting multiple entries, you can complete all forms first and check out with a single payment.
Submission Guidelines
Submission Fee: There is a $5 fee per submission to enter the contest. Fees will go towards printing more free copies of Volume 6.
Multiple Submissions: Artists may submit multiple works, but each $5 submission covers one image. If you’d like to submit multiple images, simply adjust the quantity at checkout (e.g., 3 images = $15). All submissions can be purchased in a single transaction.
Submission Period: Entries will be accepted from April 4th to May 31st. Ensure your submission is within this timeframe.
Notification: Selected artists will be notified by June.
Technical Requirements
Image Size: 8.5in x 11in
Image Quality: Minimum 300 dpi, maximum file size 10MB.
Larger Files: If your image exceeds 10MB, upload a smaller version in this form and email the full-resolution file to magazinetheawakeing@gmail.com.
Presentation: Avoid distracting shadows or poor lighting in your documentation.
For the best fit, we recommend vertical (portrait-oriented) imagery, though horizontal works may be cropped or adjusted for layout. Each cover will include the magazine’s name, a QR code, and the volume number, which we will handle.
